There aren’t too many used Essex housings to be had as most photographers that use our products keep them for many years. If you do happen to have a used Essex housing there is some very important information that you should be aware of.

1) We will service your housing for a nominal fee to bring it back to it’s original condition. Contact us about our 50,000 mile tune up special.

2) All of our housings are designed to be used without the cameras rubber eyecup. Canon cameras have a very large rubber eyecup which must be removed before using it in an Essex housing. Not removing the eyecup can, and may cause the main seal not to form resulting in leakage that can seriously damage your camera.

3) A waterhousing is like any piece of specialized camera equipment. It needs to be taken care of and maintained during it’s life in order to provide you with reliable service.
