Surfhousings new Canon 30D housing is the smallest, lightest housing that we have offered to date. (This housing will also hold the 20D sister camera although it will not hold the newly introduced 40D.) As with all of our housings, the 30D model is designed to accept both our Pistol Grip and Pole Grip making it a perfect back up housing for the photographer that already owns our Canon Mark II housing or for the photographer that just wants a compact reliable rig. It’s expected that the 30D housing will be very popular due to it’s small size and also for the fact that it will accommodate the Canon 20D camera. A control for the principal command dial next to the shutter release button will be an option.
